Chiang Rai Pha Tang Crepes
http://www.hotsia.com > Chiang Rai > Pha Tang Crepes Crepes ... Doi Pha Tang. Visiting Doi Pha Tang is not a long walk to the viewpoint. If you come with a group, some walk slow and some fast. The waiting and eating spot is the shops near the parking area. There are several shops selling wine and souvenirs, including the Pha Tang Crepe shop which just opened on the day I visited. The owner had just bought a brand new pan. In the cold weather, a hot crepe is perfect to satisfy your hunger before heading to other meals.

I tried the crepes and they were delicious and fragrant. Being new doesn’t mean it’s not tasty. Around the crepe shop, children run and play while waiting to guide tourists or sell flowers for worshiping the Buddha upstairs, making the area lively and enjoyable to stroll. Another recommendation is the strawberry wine because strawberries are also grown at Doi Pha Tang. They process it into wine for sale. I tasted it and it was good, though a bit sweet. There are many types of wine here; try them and buy your favorite bottle to take home.
The village atmosphere at Doi Pha Tang with children playing. A newly opened crepe shop. Tasting wine at the Doi Pha Tang wine shop, free samples available and if you like it, you can buy some to take home. The children at Doi Pha Tang are descendants of soldiers from the 93rd Infantry Division. The Pha Tang crepes are fragrant and very delicious. This trip by Mr.Hotsia includes Phu Chi Fa - Pha Tang, Doi Pha Tang on the Thai-Laos border, the ancient house restaurant at Pha Tang, trying roti to warm up at Phu Chi Fa, and the cabbage road at Phu Chi Fa.
