Kad Chiang Rai Remembrance at Thanalai Road from Aomsin Intersection to Nong Si Chaeng Intersection. The place I visited is the Saturday walking street. The Sunday walking street is called San Muan Street near San Khong Noi Road. I have never been there but heard that it’s not only about selling goods and food but also a stage for various ethnic groups to relive the past. The Saturday walking street features retro Ramwong dance, clothes for Chiang Rai locals to buy. At Kad Chiang Rai Remembrance, there is live music, Ramwong dance, and food stalls around.
Along the walking street, I found two or three street performances with traditional instruments like khaen and saw u, showing the unity of Chiang Rai people.
