Lampang Taking the train to Lampang
Lampang Taking the train to Lampang

I took the free train from Chiang Mai to Lampang. On this route, you have to pass through the Khun Tan Tunnel, which is 1.3 kilometers long and took 8 years to dig. The train passes through it very quickly. The tunnel was very difficult to build, but when the train passes, you hardly notice. You need to know a little to enjoy the trip. I traveled from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai around noon. Around here, I searched but found no hotels near Lampang train station. I remembered from when I first made the website about four or five years ago, someone picked me up and took me to stay at Kim City Hotel.

The hotel costs 500 baht, with air conditioning and hot water, located in the city. It's easy to walk to the Night Market or visit the Moyim area. Walking through the back of Moyim leads to Lampang Evening Market, Asawin Market, and the main road. This hotel is very convenient. (Mr.Hotsia recommends this hotel for its good location, affordability, and cleanliness in Lampang.) When visiting Lampang, you should try riding once. For me, having ridden before, this time I rode the last pedal tricycle in Lampang and looked for delicious food. My usual favorite is sun-dried rice porridge.

Delicious and still affordable as always. I didn't visit Kad Kong Ta because the timing wasn't right, but I got to eat delicious food recommended by friends who follow YouTube, especially Mr. Arthit Khreuloma, who took me to eat Gorarn noodles in Lampang, Pa Boon Khao Soi in Lampang, Laotian-style spicy salad, and roasted duck in Lampang. Every restaurant was satisfyingly delicious. Many thanks here.
