Traveling Nakhon Sawan - Nai Juea Rice Porridge, Nakhon Sawan
Nai Juea Rice Porridge, Nakhon Sawan - Phatphong Kamsai, Phatphong Kamlai http://www.hotsia.com > Traveling Nakhon Sawan > Nai Juea Rice Porridge, Nakhon Sawan. Introducing street musician "Phatphong Kamsai." On my travels, I meet many people from all walks of life, rich and poor in many forms. But as a farmer's son, when I see people living harder lives than mine, I always understand. Today was no different. I took a walk at Wat Chan Market around 10-11 PM, then went to eat rice porridge at the "Nai Juea Rice Porridge" restaurant.

I was drawn to a street musician playing Carabao songs next to the restaurant. At first glance, he looked thin and weak, like someone struggling with addiction. But when I listened closely and observed, I realized he was not addicted. His condition is because he did not choose his birth circumstances. I recommend this street musician performing nearby. While I was eating, he greeted me, probably noticing I was filming his performance. So I invited him to chat. Phatphong is from Isan.
Born and raised in Isan, he is skilled at playing guitar and has been busking for many years. He used to perform at Khon Kaen Walking Street and at Victory Monument. He once received guidance from Ajarn Khamchai from Pai. Today, he is in Nakhon Sawan and has been behind on rent for several months. When we talked about life, many might be proud to have started from zero and grown to a comfortable life. But for Phatphong, he started life in the negatives and has been fighting to reach zero but hasn't yet.
Let me recommend the rice porridge restaurant. The musician plays right in front of the Top Charoen Glasses store, if I remember correctly. Next to it is Nai Juea Rice Porridge, a large and popular spot among Nakhon Sawan locals. It's delicious, fast, and they sell beer too. If you visit Nakhon Sawan in the evening or late at night, stop by this place. Please say hello to Phatphong for me, the street musician at Nai Juea Rice Porridge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxa_mpRIkds Nai Juea Rice Porridge, Nakhon Sawan - a photo taken by the staff as a keepsake.
