This resort is another place I recommend, located by the Phetch River, but it is a calm river.
The highlight of this resort is the beautifully arranged riverside garden. In the past, there used to be a flock of sheep, but now they are gone because the dogs liked to bite them, so they stopped raising sheep. However, there are still three beautiful horses. I have not had the chance to stay overnight at Vimarn Nam Resort yet, just came to ask for permission to take photos to share. The accommodations here are well-made, clean, and cost a little over a thousand baht per night. You can check their information on the Vimarn Nam Resort website.
Another thing I was impressed with at Vimarn Nam Resort was watching the locals fishing in the Phetch River. They caught several fish, similar to carp. Three of us went fishing, sitting and relaxing while watching them fish and observing the riverside lifestyle. Looking left, there was just a green grass field, and that was enough happiness. Most guests at Vimarn Nam Resort spend their evenings enjoying the dam view, eating nearby, then returning to sleep. In the morning, they go out to explore again.
