On a trip Mr.Hotsia took to Phrae Province, Song City, Phrae Province, traveling from Phrae to Ngao District, Lampang Province, before heading to Phayao and Chiang Rai, the route passes through a quiet small district called Song. This district is related to the history and story of Lilit Phra Lor, finally in the year 2008 (B.E. 2551).

A new tourist attraction was created called Lilit Phra Lor Park, featuring statues of Phra Lor, Phra Phuean, and Phra Paeng standing and dying together. I will briefly tell the story simply; please forgive any inaccuracies. Long ago, around the Ayutthaya period or earlier, there were two towns near Song. One town had a son named Phra Lor, and the other had two daughters named Phra Phuean and Phra Paeng. Then there was a battle, and Phra Lor's father was killed by the fathers of Phra Phuean and Phra Paeng.
Later, Phra Phuean and Phra Paeng fell in love with Phra Lor and asked Pu Chao Saming Phrai to cast a love spell using a three-pronged flag and a wind ball. Eventually, it failed, so they enchanted a ghost chicken to lead Phra Lor. Finally, he found Phra Phuean and Phra Paeng and stayed with them for half a month. Later, Phra Lor's grandmother ordered soldiers to shoot poisoned arrows. The three stood leaning on each other and died, becoming a legend to this day. Lilit Phra Lor Park recreated Pu Chao Saming Phrai's cave and displayed wall paintings showing various charms. Unfortunately, there is no enchanted three-pronged flag.
If there were one and it was enchanted, I believe tourists would buy them in large quantities. On the way back, you might drive around Song town a couple of times, see the town first before visiting other places. Mr.Hotsia, May 2013.
