Travel Saraburi Province Travel Information for Saraburi Province
Travel information for Saraburi Province http://www.hotsia.com > Travel Saraburi Province > Travel information for Saraburi Province Saraburi is a small newly established province. The city itself has little to offer—no clock tower, no fountain roundabout. However, the province has a city pillar shrine that is beautifully constructed. Around the city, there is a school for teaching wild buffaloes, and only a few shops are open in town. Nightlife spots are limited. Hotels cost about 700 baht per night, comfortable for staying with wifi available.

However, Saraburi Province has a prosperous border district called Rong Kluea in Aranyaprathet. Aranyaprathet is an eastern border district of Thailand, sharing a border with Cambodia. It was originally a district of Kabin Buri Province, later merged with Prachinburi Province (on March 31, 1925). Currently, it is a district of Saraburi Province, which was newly established later (on December 1, 1993). Rong Kluea Market or Ban Khlong Luek Border Market is well known.
This market borders Cambodia and is famous for trading secondhand clothes and products from Cambodia. Originally, the area was used to store salt for export to Cambodia. Later, salt usage declined due to internal conflicts in Cambodia from 1979 to 1993, transforming the area into the market it is today. I stayed one night in Saraburi and ate at Jakrawan Restaurant.
I haven't visited Rong Kluea yet but will return soon on a trip to Cambodia. This clip was filmed in Saraburi city. Other trips of mine in Saraburi include Jakrawan Restaurant, Mr.Hotsia, Wang Nam Khiao travel, and traveling to Rong Kluea Market.
