In Ubon Province, I like to regularly eat at Tee Amnuay Chok Rice Porridge Restaurant because it's delicious, fast, and affordable. It's a favorite spot for locals in Ubon. After nearly 20 years, I returned to Ubon and thought about this place. At first, I wasn't sure if it was still open, but when I arrived, wow, it’s still here and even bigger than before. Most Ubon locals have eaten here, many take food home, and the restaurant is always full.
This restaurant offers both ready-made dishes that you can serve yourself if you're hungry and don't want to wait, or freshly made dishes. Most people order both and eat while waiting. Deep down, I hoped to meet old friends here, and I did! I met my classmate Thongpoon, who studied computer science with me. Meeting after 17 years was a special joy. So, if you want to meet friends or someone in Ubon, this place is a great chance. As for the food, everything here is delicious.
My favorite is the fried red fish with dipping sauce, which is very tasty. The stir-fried white chive with crispy pork is also delicious. In front of the restaurant, there’s a long-standing delicious pork satay vendor that has been paired with this restaurant for years. It’s truly tasty. On the right side in front of the restaurant, there’s a fragrant oyster omelet stall that Ubon locals also love. Next time you visit Ubon, Mr. Hotsia recommends Tee Amnuay Chok Restaurant.
