Usually when I think about traveling, I consider Sombat Tour and Nakhonchai Air buses. Today, when I had to travel to Ubon, Marapin recommended the BKS VIP 24-seat bus, saying it was very good with wide seats and comfortable for sleeping. So I tried BKS service, and it met my expectations. The bus wasn’t crowded, spacious and comfortable, with exciting movies to watch onboard. It stops to pick up passengers at Rangsit and Wang Noi as well. If you live near Rangsit or the outskirts, you can board there or along the route.
The bus offers snacks, and stops for hot rice porridge at Si Khio around midnight. If you don’t want to eat, you can exchange for goods worth 30 baht. The seats are wide and recline, but not fully flat at 180 degrees. For me, no bus ride is ever fully comfortable for sleeping, but I rate this BKS bus as more comfortable than others. This VIP 24-seat bus is a new option I want travelers to try. I used the service from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani, and I even forgot my tennis racket on the bus.
But it wasn’t lost. When I realized I forgot it, I went back to get it at the bus washing area. The male staff on the bus were helpful and easily carried my heavy backpack. If it were a beautiful female staff, she probably couldn’t have done that. Mr. Hotsia 2010 loves the early morning sunrise on provincial buses.
