Kepphoom Buys Transforming Toys at the Chiang Rai Flower Festival - Toy Review

When talking about the Chiang Rai Flower Festival, many people might think of colorful flower gardens, beautiful mountain views, or family-friendly activities. But for me, mr.hotsia, this event is not just about flowers. It’s also a great opportunity to buy my favorite transforming toys and share an in-depth review with friends from the real scene.

The Chiang Rai Flower Festival is held annually in the beautiful area of Chiang Rai province, near the city center where I usually stay at Suknirand Hotel, located next to the Chiang Rai Clock Tower (for those interested in accommodation here, mr.hotsia has written a recommendation articleAffordable and Good Hotels in Chiang Rai City). This hotel is reasonably priced and has an excellent location, making it very convenient to walk to the morning market, evening market, or the Saturday Walking Street “Kad Chiang Rai Ram Luek.”

Back to the flower festival, there is a toy zone that I really like because it gathers both new and rare old transforming toys that I have been searching for. The transforming toys here range from classic transforming robots to limited editions with full detailed designs. Seeing them, I couldn’t resist buying some to keep as my personal collection.

What impressed me most was the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the organizers and the toy buyers. It felt like meeting new friends who share the same love for toys. Parents brought their children to see transforming toys while enjoying the flowers. This charm is something I can’t find anywhere else.

Besides the toy zone, the festival also features beautiful seasonal flower displays. I walked around holding the bag of toys I just bought, feeling that this trip to Chiang Rai was full of happiness and gave me a deeper experience of the warm lifestyle of Chiang Rai people.

If you are a fan of transforming toys or looking for gifts for children, the Chiang Rai Flower Festival is a destination you shouldn’t miss. For those who want to continue exploring, I recommend visitingWat Rong Khunthe beautiful white temple with a unique style. Or if you want to stroll casually in Chiang Rai city at night, you must trythe Saturday Walking Street “Kad Chiang Rai Ram Luek,”which is not far from my Suknirand Hotel.

After shopping for toys, I also tried local food at Roy Han restaurant, famous for its delicious braised beef basil that many Chiang Rai locals often visit (for those interested, check out the video and location atBraised Beef Basil at Roy Han Restaurant Video). I must say it was very tasty and enhanced my enjoyment of Chiang Rai’s atmosphere even more.

Therefore, the Chiang Rai Flower Festival is not just a place to see flowers but also a meeting point for transforming toy lovers like me, mr.hotsia, who get to experience small joys in life amid the natural and cultural atmosphere of Chiang Rai.

For traveling to this event, I recommend renting a car to drive yourself from Chiang Mai or within Chiang Rai city because it’s convenient and allows you to stop at various spots around the province easily. For example, if you want to drive to Doi Chang, which is not far from the city, please read my articleDriving Trip to Doi Changthat I have written to get a complete travel plan in one trip.

In summary, the Chiang Rai Flower Festival for me, mr.hotsia, is not only a great opportunity to see beautiful flowers but also a destination where I can collect beloved transforming toys and truly experience the atmosphere of Chiang Rai city. If you love toys or want a deep Chiang Rai travel experience, I recommend planning your visit during the festival. I guarantee you will return with happiness, fun, and wonderful stories in your bag.
