Gam Kan Kep takes you to the Chiang Rai Flower Festival Full Clip

Chiang Rai in my eyes, mr.hotsia, never disappoints. This time I had the chance to visit the annual flower festival held in Chiang Rai city. It is an event that gathers the beauty of various ornamental flower species in one place, fully showcasing colors and the delicate scent of nature, perfect for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

The event is held in a spacious area of Chiang Rai city. I went in the morning to avoid the strong sunlight and enjoyed the fresh atmosphere of fully bloomed flowers. Roses, lilies, tulips, and many other cold-climate flowers were artistically arranged with photo spots that made me keep picking up my camera to take pictures nonstop.

What stands out at the Chiang Rai Flower Festival is its diversity. Not only flowers but also exotic plant species are exhibited, along with workshops teaching gardening or small flower planting, which I also tried myself. It’s an experience I highly recommend everyone to try.

Since I stayed in downtown Chiang Rai, it was very convenient to travel to this event easily. After visiting the flower festival, I still had free time to stroll around the city. Chiang Rai is interesting in terms of lifestyle and food, not far from my accommodation such asSuknirand Hotelwhich I often recommend because it’s affordable and located next to the Chiang Rai Clock Tower. It’s very convenient to walk to the morning market, evening market, or the Saturday Walking Street “Kad Chiang Rai Ram Luek.”

Speaking of the Chiang Rai Clock Tower, which is not far from the flower festival, I, mr.hotsia, would like to recommend visiting it.Chiang Rai Clock Towerat night because there is a light and sound show designed by Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat, the creator of Wat Rong Khun, which is one of Chiang Rai’s famous tourist attractions.

After strolling around the flowers and nearby places, I didn’t miss tasting Chiang Rai’s famous local food. There are many street food stalls and local restaurants you shouldn’t miss, such as Roy Han, famous for braised beef basil, or if you want delicious duck noodles, there isPor Duck Noodle San Khi Baowhich is another destination for food lovers that I have visited and was very impressed with.

For those who want to extend their trip in Chiang Rai, I recommend driving to Doi Chang, which is not far from the city center (Driving to Doi Chang). Here you’ll find the famous Doi Chang coffee plantations nationwide, a cool atmosphere all year round, and Akha hill tribe villages and Reu communities that still maintain a simple and charming lifestyle.

Chiang Rai is not only good for nature and flowers but also rich in culture, lifestyle, and interesting food. You can stroll around the city that still preserves its unique identity very well.Strolling around downtown Chiang RaiThe walking streets on both Saturday and Sunday have different charms. Don’t forget to try Yellow Truck Coffee, another legend of the Chiang Rai Clock Tower that I have recommended in a previous article.

Finally, if you want to see the full atmosphere of the Chiang Rai Flower Festival, mr.hotsia has a full travel video clip recorded for you to watch right here.Gam Kan Kep takes you to the Chiang Rai Flower Festival Full ClipI guarantee you will experience the vibrant side of Chiang Rai from a different perspective and be ready to plan your own trip next time.

Chiang Rai is not only about flowers, art, or Wat Rong Khun but also full of life and warmth from the people here. I, mr.hotsia, believe anyone who visits Chiang Rai will surely fall in love with this city like I did.
