Welcome to Trang Province

I, mr.hotsia, would like to share my firsthand experience so friends can experience the beauty and charm of Trang Province, which is not only known for its beautiful sea and fresh seafood, but also as a city full of lovely local lifestyles and stories waiting to be discovered.

Trang is located in southern Thailand. It is a province I visit often, whether for relaxing by the sea or exploring the lively morning marketTrang Morning MarketThis place is a hub for fresh produce and local foods that once you try, you will be hooked by the flavors and variety.

Lifestyle and Living of Trang People

On my trip to Trang, I had the chance to talk with local vendors at the morning market. Everyone was incredibly warm and friendly. Trang people are known for their sincerity and strong preservation of cultural traditions. I witnessed traditional trading that remains simple yet full of smiles and happiness.

Another thing I love about Trang is the unhurried travel pace unlike big cities. You can drive along roads lined with rubber plantations and lush green fields, stop at local coffee shops where the coffee is rich and smooth like nowhere else.

Fresh Seafood and Must-Try Dishes

Trang is famous for fresh seafood and crab dishes you must try. I recommend experiencing the taste ofEating sea crab at Hat Yaowhich is a beautiful beach in Ko Libong Subdistrict, Kantang District. Here, not only is the sea view stunning, but the sea crabs are fresh with many dishes to choose from, such as curry powder crab, crab roe, and other carefully prepared seafood.

At local restaurants like Sri Trang, I tried the spicy stir-fried catfish with authentic southern Thai curry flavors. If you like strong flavors, you must not miss this dish. There is also rice with curry at the same place that made me feel like eating at a friend's home because of its warmth and familiar taste.

Recommended Attractions

If you come to Trang, don't forget to visitExplore Trang Provinceto the fullest, starting with the beautiful sea at Hat Yao, the famous Emerald Cave, or take a boat to various islands with crystal-clear waters where you can see the fish. I have taken boat trips here many times and each time I am still impressed and never forget the experience.

For those who love photography and old town atmospheres, don't miss a stroll in Trang town in the evening. You will see Sino-Portuguese architecture blending harmoniously and can taste local sweets or snacks sold at small roadside shops.

Travel Tips and Advice from mr.hotsia

Traveling to Trang city is easy. I recommend visiting in early year or late rainy to early cool season because the weather is pleasant, not too hot, and rain is less frequent than other times of the year. Getting around the province is convenient by car or public bus, but if you want freedom, I suggest renting a car to stop at various spots as you like.

Before you go, I want to share a video I recordedWelcome to Trang Provincefor friends to see real scenes from my trip, so everyone can see the beauty and real life of Trang more clearly.

Trang is not just a province with beautiful seas and delicious food, but a city full of stories and warmth from its people that mr.hotsia wants everyone to experience at least once in their lifetime.
