Thailand train thrill like no other
Hello, I am mr.hotsia. Today I have a true story from my experience on a Thailand train that I can say was truly thrilling — a feeling you rarely find anywhere else. Thailand trains are not only classic and chill but sometimes challenge the courage and excitement of travelers like me to the fullest.
I traveled on a train route without a specified province because this route is one I like to use for thinking and observing the lives of people along the way. It’s not just a journey but an immersion into the lifestyle, simplicity, and sincerity of rural Thai people along this railway.
When I was on this Thailand train, I must say the most thrilling moments were when the train passed tight curves or ran on old, worn tracks. But its charm lies in the closeness to nature and the houses of people on both sides, sometimes so near you could almost reach out and greet them. Riding this train reminded me of backpacking trips I have written about.Preparing for independent travel, traveling solo, backpackingFor those who love freedom and unique fun
Along the way, I saw the unique lifestyles of communities by the railway. Some places had small markets lined with fresh goods, local food, and snacks I liked to buy during stops, such as grilled sticky rice with pork or freshly made Thai desserts. This atmosphere is something you can’t find when traveling by car or plane.
Riding the Thailand train also reminded me of the relationship between Thailand and neighboring countries, especially Laos and Vietnam, because the lifestyles of people along the way are very similar, as I wrote about in my article onHa Tinh Provincea border province deeply connected with Thai and Lao people. I mentioned that people there speak Lao and share very similar cultures, including markets selling freshwater fish and fresh tea leaves boiled for drinking like at home.
Back to the Thailand train, I must say that although some parts felt thrilling due to old tracks and winding routes, this charm made the journey unique. Also, I had the chance to see locals riding tricycles or bicycles to work or markets as the train passed, making the train truly the lifeblood of the community.
For those afraid of thrills, I recommend not missing this opportunity because it offers both excitement and warmth at the same time. And if you want to travel comfortably and be ready to explore on your own, don’t forget to read my guide on preparing for independent travel.hereas well.
I also secretly recommend that if anyone wants to try this train experience, plan to continue traveling to provinces or cities with simple lifestyles close to nature, just like I wrote about inTraveling Tam Dao, Vietnamwhich, although another country, has an atmosphere and local lifestyle that really suits adventurous travelers like me.
Finally, I’d like to share a video I filmed myself while riding the Thailand train for you to watch.Thailand train thrill like no otherSo you can see the atmosphere and thrills I experienced clearly.
If you want to travel with excitement in true mr.hotsia style, don’t forget to prepare your mind and body, then go enjoy the fun and challenges waiting on this Thailand train route. I guarantee you’ll see a unique side of Thailand!
