Along the way, I saw the unique lifestyles of communities by the railway. Some places had small markets lined with fresh goods, local food, and snacks I liked to buy during stops, such as grilled sticky rice with pork or freshly made Thai desserts. This atmosphere is something you can’t find when traveling by car or plane.
