Phu Quoc Island Phu Quoc Island Seafood

Phu Quoc Island Seafood http://www.hotsia.com > Phu Quoc Island > Phu Quoc Island Seafood This island is famous for fresh and affordable seafood. When you come here, you must have at least one meal focused heavily on seafood. The seafood restaurants are located on Seafood Street or Night Plaza. There are about 20 restaurants to choose from, specializing in barbecue, hotpot, or what Vietnamese call 'Lau'. The seafood zone opens at 5:00 PM and closes before midnight when customers are full. The seafood sold mainly includes shellfish, fish, squid, and shrimp.

As I mentioned, I saw with my own eyes Vietnamese people spearfishing squid on the beach of Phu Quoc Island, catching almost one kilogram each. The seafood here is very abundant. For example, the grouper fish I ordered cost 200 baht each, and grilled sea urchin was 20 baht each. Besides that, there were shark fish and other strange fish I did not recognize. For hotpot or 'Lau', I recommend trying it. The set costs 100,000 dong or about 150 baht and includes fish, squid, shrimp, glass noodles, and vegetables. I think this dish is worth it.

Another thing worth trying is grilled eggplant. It is very fragrant, delicious, slightly sweet, and goes well with seafood to balance the flavors. While enjoying seafood on Phu Quoc Island, try to find a good bottle of Dalat wine. It costs only a few hundred baht but tastes excellent and is perfect as an appetizer. Besides the seafood zone, there is also a serious smoothie zone. I recommend trying the durian smoothie; it is delicious. Next to the restaurant zone is the souvenir area.

After a satisfying meal, you can go shopping if you like. There are many pearls because Phu Quoc Island is famous for pearls. Along the way while I was riding a motorcycle touring, I saw pearl shops or farms at intervals. mr.hotsia January 2012 Eating seafood at Phu Quoc Island (Phu Quoc) 10 12 55.493 N, 103 57 30.293 E GPS coordinates (POI) Sea urchins on the food street at Phu Quoc Island 10 12 56.999 N, 103 57 29.111 E 10 12 56.501 N, 103 57 29.201 E 10 12 56.597 N, 103 57 29.279 E
