This is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Sapa, a Hmong ethnic minority village with beautiful views. Along the way, there are souvenir shops and a market viewpoint. The highlight is the waterfall at the end of the village, with a hard-to-remember name, Tien Sa Waterfall. I think this waterfall is more beautiful than Silver Waterfall, which requires riding a motorbike early in the morning to visit on your own. Silver Waterfall is tall but not very beautiful. How to get to Cat Cat Village
Just walk out the back of Sapa market; the distance is not far, enjoy the views along the way. There will be a path on the left with vendors selling goods up to almost reaching Tien Sa Waterfall. I think the items sold are similar, mostly handmade Hmong clothes. On the way back, I recommend retracing your steps back to Sapa town. Do not walk further to exit another way as it is a longer detour. I do not recommend renting a motorbike to visit Cat Cat Village.
