Siem Reap Walking Street (Pub Street) I once wrote about seven things tourists should do when visiting Siem Reap, Cambodia. One of them is to stroll at night along Siem Reap Walking Street (Pub Street). In fact, it extends to shops by the river and walking around the night atmosphere near the Old Market (Psar Chaa). Every tourist who comes to Siem Reap must come out for a walk. The lively atmosphere is definitely more vibrant than expected.
Activities I saw while walking include short 15-minute roadside massages costing just a few tens of baht, or starting with dining by the street, followed by sitting at a bar sipping beer or cocktails while enjoying the music played nearby. You can also walk by the river and try Khmer-style smoothies—don’t forget to add durian. If you like nightlife for tourists with food and drinks, this area has it all. But if you prefer to travel like locals, just take a tuk-tuk from your hotel.
