Each city has its unique style of preparation, resulting in different flavors. Peking Duck is a famous Chinese dish with a complicated process to achieve crispy skin and tender meat, involving inflating the duck, applying honey to the skin, and roasting or baking it slowly. Guangzhou also has roast duck. Many restaurants in Thailand sell Guangzhou roast duck. So I had to try Guangzhou roast duck. It was a bit surprising because roast duck is not widely sold in Guangzhou.
I searched for a long time before finding a shop selling it. The shop is in front of the market (see GPS coordinates above the photo). This shop sells roast duck, chicken, pork, and many other dishes but has no seating. I bought it to go and ate it at a food van nearby. It was not as delicious as I expected—cold, not crispy skin.
