Walking around and chatting with the vendors made me feel like I was truly experiencing the real lifestyle of Laotians. It’s not just about buying and selling but a warm and sincere cultural exchange.

I usually rent a bicycle from the Fountain Roundabout area, which is near accommodations like Pomprasert Hotel that I often recommend because it’s convenient and very affordable. You can cycle along charming small streets or walk as it’s not far. Along the way, you can visit important nearby places such asHaw Phra Kaewor various temples located close by.

At night, Vientiane is quieter than expected, unlike busy and noisy tourist cities. But this walking street is a place that makes me feel warm and relaxed, like experiencing the city in a small corner full of genuine kindness from locals and tourists sharing happiness together.
