There is a right turn leading 3 kilometers to the waterfall, no jungle trekking needed. Tad Yeung Waterfall is very beautiful. If you travel independently, choose to come around 3 to 4 PM. The light is beautiful and the waterfall looks its best then. This is not just my opinion; the locals in Pak Song also know this well.
Entrance fee to Tad Yeung is 20 baht. Above the waterfall, there is a walking path. In the evening, locals bathe around here. Although Tad Yeung Waterfall is not as tall as Sekatam Waterfall, its beauty is unmatched. Have fun exploring all the waterfalls in this area by renting a motorcycle. Ride at your own pace and rest when tired. This area is a plateau; although it is in the tropical south, Pak Song remains cool all the time. For travel directions, from Bangkok take a bus to Ubon Ratchathani, then from Ubon Bus Station to Pakse, and then rent a motorcycle to explore with me.
