Actually, Pa-an has many tourist attractions such as Lat Ka Na village.

Kawtkathaung Cave, Thamanyot Kyoung, Eindu Village, Saddan Cave, Ye Dagon Paya, Lumbini Garden, Nauang Kalaing Village, Kyaukka Latt Paya. Many places require traveling far by car or buying a tour that waits for enough people. But I chose to visit only one place, the Je Talat Pagoda, which is 7 kilometers from town. If you take a detour on the way back, it’s 10 kilometers. On the return trip, I hired a motorcycle for 5,000 kyats.
However, the driver stopped at a temple with hundreds of seated monks on the ground and charged an extra 1,000 kyats without prior notice. On the way back, I stopped at Pa-an Lake, which is on the route, and the driver charged another 1,000 kyats without prior notice. Including the road fees, I paid a total of 7,000 kyats for the Je Talat Pagoda (Kyaukka Latt Paya). It is a pagoda built on a rock pillar with trees growing on it, surrounded by water in a circular shape, making it uniquely beautiful.
When taking photos, you cannot see the circular water surrounding it because you are not at a high vantage point (I saw this from pictures in the area). But even the photos taken on the bridge crossing the water are very beautiful. There is a bridge over the water leading to the pagoda, and several fish are raised there. They sell food for tourists to feed the fish. Many people in Pa-an have worked in Thailand. I met several people who could speak Thai, even at the pagoda tourist spot and at a barber shop.
So, don’t worry about the language when traveling to Pa-an. You won’t starve.
