The well-known tourist attractions in Ratchaburi province are Suan Phueng and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. On this trip, I stayed at Amphawa Floating Market, then drove to visit Suan Phueng and drove back to stay at Arya Hotel in downtown Ratchaburi. I recall when I visited Kanchanaburi where the Kwae Noi River flows. It's a pity I had little time to travel in Ratchaburi, only one night.

This land of Ratchaburi was once an ancient community. These people lived in caves and forests, so human remains and various utensils from the Stone Age, Iron Age, and Bronze Age, dating back 2,000 years and prehistoric or before the Buddhist era, have been excavated.
Human skeletons were found still wearing bronze bracelets, earrings, stone beads, glass beads, pottery, iron tools, and traces of iron smelting slag. These were excavated in Photharam district, Bang Phae district, and Chom Bueng district. Ancient communities were found at old mines along the Tenasserim mountain range, with bronze utensils, chipped stone tools, stone axes, and stone bracelets. Bronze utensils such as bowls and basins were also found near the Phachi River at old tin mines.
The geography of Ratchaburi consists of mountains and wild caves scattered in the west, which were ancient human habitats. Therefore, many Buddhist sites are found in caves such as Ruesi Cave, Fa Tho Cave, Chinese Cave, Cham Cave, and Buddha Cave.
