If you travel independently, I recommend asking small hotels near the Phong Trang bus parking area because prices are much cheaper than online bookings. For example, I found Agoda prices to be twice as expensive. But if you are not confident with the language or worry about availability, you can book online first for peace of mind.

However, if you want to save money and are ready for an adventure, I think searching for accommodation yourself in Mui Ne is the way to go. You get the atmosphere and a chance to talk with hotel owners. Food is a must-mention because Mui Ne is famous for fresh seafood. Although prices are slightly higher than at home, the taste and variety are well worth it.
