The restaurant is located in an alley opposite Cao Bằng market. They serve pizza, beef soup, local sausages, delicious and affordable food. The owner speaks good English and can provide travel information about Cao Bằng Province. For over one hundred thousand VND, breakfast is served, such as at Sunny Hotel where I stayed. The Vietnamese-style breakfast includes fried noodles, rice porridge, orange juice, and fruit, all quite tasty. If you skip hotel breakfast, walk behind the morning market for rice or pho, or find several banh mi shops in front of the market. This town rarely sells wine.
However, sticky rice liquor is available but I found it not very tasty.
