When I stayed at Ban Gioc Waterfall or Detian Falls, I stayed at the hotel next to the waterfall, Saigon Ban Gioc Hotel, 1800 baht per night. It is the only hotel there. The rest are guesthouses about
500 meters away, which are Tai people's houses, priced 400-500 baht per night. But I did not stay there because of the dust and distance from the waterfall. It is tiring to walk to the waterfall multiple times. In Cao Bằng town, the average price is 400 baht per night. I found a good hotel for Vietnam with wifi, air conditioning, and hot water. I recommend staying at a decent hotel because it’s not expensive and you can enjoy a luxurious hotel for under a thousand baht.
