The temple is located 5 km from the center of Dalat, on Phoenix Mountain north, overlooking Tuyen Lam Lake. The temple area is very beautiful.
This temple is not only the largest in Lam Dong province (Dalat is under Lam Dong province), but it is also a popular attraction for both domestic and international tourists. Truc Lam Temple was started in 1993 and completed in 1994. To visit the temple, I took the cable car from the bottom, costing 50,000 dong, or you can drive up the winding mountain road to the temple.
The temple's bell tower is clearly visible from a distance. The tiled roof of the pagoda stands out against the surrounding pine forest. Inside the temple, there are about 50 monks and 50 nuns practicing their religion. If you pass by the prayer hall during chanting, you can listen to Zen Buddhist chants.
