Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Tran Quoc Pagoda is located on an island in the middle of a lake. This temple has a history of over 1500 years and is considered the oldest temple in Hanoi. It is a sacred place where many Buddhists come to visit and pay respects, as well as tourists from both Vietnam and abroad. The pagoda was first built between 544-548 AD. Tran Quoc Pagoda is situated on an island in the largest freshwater lake in Hanoi.

Today, there is a pagoda built in 1998. The large pagoda consists of 11 floors, 15 meters high. Each floor has 6 arched doors, and each door opening contains statues of Buddha. This pagoda was built to align with a large Bodhi tree gifted by the President of India during his visit to Hanoi. Mr. Hotsia traveled by purchasing a one-day tour in Hanoi for 750 baht, including a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

The birthplace of Ho Chi Minh, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the Vietnamese Ethnic Museum are included in this tour. Lunch is provided, but I did not complete the full day because I disliked the tour's visit to a painting shop and felt too tired, so I separated to rest and walked around Dong Xuan Market. Mr. Hotsia, January 2013. Affordable and good hotels in Phu Tho area. Tran Quoc Pagoda is respected by Ho Chi Minh. The temple is surrounded by a lake.
