I think Mailinh is a company with good service quality going to Ho Chi Minh, stopping at Mien Dong Station. There are buses from Vung Tau passing through Gai Phong to Hanoi, buses to Hue, Danang, Vinh, and other cities along the route (see ticket prices in the picture). For long-distance travel, buses depart from Vung Tau in the evening or at night and arrive at the destination in the morning. If you want to get off midway, you will arrive at that city late at night, which I think is dangerous for smaller towns along the way.
I recommend taking the boat back to Ho Chi Minh (high-speed boat from Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh) and then buying a bus ticket for a daytime or nighttime route to arrive at your destination safely.
