The station that takes me from Buon Ma Thuot to Nha Trang is located about 3-4 kilometers north of the city center. Taking a taxi costs about 100 baht. At this station, taxis also charge an entrance fee to park inside. I recommend getting off in front without going inside to save the extra 30 baht. Why charge so much? Or is the taxi ripping me off again? I took the bus from Buon Ma Thuot Bus Station to Nha Trang. The distance from Ban Mae Thuot to Pleiku and Nha Trang is about 200 kilometers.
The travel time is 3-4 hours with a 20-minute food stop along the way. A highlight of this area is the fresh coffee aroma drying by the roadside. Although the station is outside the city, once on the bus, it will return to pick up passengers inside the city, stopping at houses to load goods, taking about 30 minutes.
