Nem Luoi is grilled fermented pork roll. They skewer it on sticks and grill it quickly over high heat. It's eaten dipped in sauce only, no fresh vegetables or chili, which is quite unusual. Mr. Hotsia enjoyed it heartily on my birthday at a shop in an alley beside the old church in Hanoi (Phu Tho area). There's a small hidden alley with many young Vietnamese professionals eating there.
