There is a tour called the Sunset River Cruise for watching the sunset in Kampot. If you purchase the Bokor Mountain tour, this cruise is included at the end of the day, starting at 4:00 PM until sunset.
The boat takes you along both sides of the Kampong Bay River. At first, you will see resorts, accommodations, and guesthouses by the river. Further along, you will observe the lifestyle of the Khmer people living by the river. The boat travels about 10 kilometers along the river before turning back to the pier. At sunset, looking towards Bokor Mountain, you will see beautiful reflections of light and shadows on the river.
