The Pearl River is a major river in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Anyone visiting Guangzhou must not miss the chance to take a cruise to enjoy the vibrant night views of Guangzhou. The buildings along the river are beautifully illuminated, especially the Canton Tower, which stands 488 meters tall. It was once the tallest building in the world but was later surpassed by Tokyo Skytree in Japan, which is 600 meters tall (Ocean One building is 327 meters, the tallest in Thailand).
The Baiyoke Tower is 223 meters tall. To take a Pearl River cruise, there are boat companies along the river offering tours at about 500 baht per person (if I remember correctly, check the prices in the video). Just walk to the street along the Pearl River, straight from Beijing Pedestrian Street or Baijing Road along the river. There will be agents offering various prices depending on the seating class and whether you want to dine on board. I chose the open deck without dinner, just ordered a few drinks.
Actually, ordering is not necessary.
