My journey started from Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, which connects to other towns via all-weather highways and shared jeeps that serve as the main lifeline of the region.From Gangtok, I rested for two nights and then took a shared jeep to travel to Namchi.Namchi is located in the southern part of Sikkim, about 78 kilometers away.

Namchi, which means 'high sky' in the local language, is situated over 1,600 meters above sea level.
