Assam in India is well known as the tea city of India. It is considered a major city in eastern India and serves as the industrial center of Northeast India. It is the hub for communication and healthcare industries in Upper Assam. Located 439 km east of Guwahati, this city is the largest in Assam state, India. Dibrugarh is connected to the rest of India.
Travel is possible by train, road, and air, making it the gateway to eastern Assam. There are international flights from Dibrugarh to Bangkok and Singapore. I traveled here before taking a car to find Thai people in Margherita and then drove back to Tinsukia. I stayed one night in Dibrugarh at Hotel Natraj.
Hotel prices here are cheaper than in major Indian cities. I strolled around the town, ate local food, and observed street life. Mr. Hotsia enjoys traveling to the fullest.
