Buddha Park requires driving up a high hill. On clear days, the view is stunning with clouds drifting by. At the top, there is a small restaurant selling delicious Momo. There is a small entrance fee to visit. This is a 36-meter high statue of Guru Padmasambhava. The statue is located about 7 km from Namchi town, opposite the direction to Char Dham and on the way to Ravangla. The place is called Tendong

Hill. On a clear day, the place offers excellent views of the surroundings. Ngadok Monastery: Another beautiful Buddhist monastery featuring a large unique Buddha statue. Below are old pictures for tourists to see Sikkim and Namchi in the past. This monastery is located close to the Samdruptse statue. It is a peaceful place where you can spend a few moments among the monks' chants in a well-maintained and preserved monastery.

Point: About 16 km from Namchi town near the village of Sadam is the location of Tarey Bhir. It is a long ridge that stretches east to west with a deep gorge on one side. The total length of the steep ridge is about one kilometer. The government has constructed pedestrian steps which you can follow to take the long ridge walk. The views from the top

are great, with Kalimpong, Teesta Bazar, Rongpo, Tinchuley, Peshok, Ichey Gaon, and many other tourist destinations visible from here. I ended my one-day trip by enjoying Tumba, a millet wine, with the homeowner where I stayed. I also ate spicy meat salad similar to what I had in Mitgina. Delicious! Tumba is good and healthy, not for heavy drinking. The Nepali people love singing; on the bus, loud music played and everyone sang along, including me and the other passengers.

Very happy. mr.hotsia - Travel with Passion
