Not every pho place is delicious, but this one, "Nang Taew's restaurant" located in Saravan province, is tasty. Another place I recommended before is Mik's pho at Huay Sai, Bokeo province, which now many people visit since it's near Chiang Khong. Nang Taew's pho is special because it uses pork offal, which is rarely found in Laos.
Mostly, pho is made with beef, chicken, or pork, but here they have pork offal and crispy pork. Their pho broth is delicious with a slightly sweet tomato flavor. I like the soup. I order pho without added starch or MSG, and it's still tasty. In Saravan, it's hard to find restaurants serving sticky rice; many have grilled chicken with sticky rice. There are many pho places too. If you can't find stir-fried chicken with basil and fried egg with sticky rice, this pho place is a good alternative and truly delicious. mr.hotsia recommends hotels in Saravan.
