Chaiyaphum city is not very popular among tourists, so it is the last province Mr.Hotsia traveled to in Laos. Laos has a total of 17 provinces including the capital Vientiane. Visiting here means I have finally traveled to all provinces of Laos. Proud quietly by myself. For travel, I left Nan province, Huay Kon border, took a nearly regular bus from Ngeun city costing 400 baht to Chaiyaphum city. It took 3 and a half hours. The road is good but with ups and downs in the mountains.
The route passes through Hongsa city first, then comes to Chaiyaphum. If you go further south, you will reach Paklai, then continue to Vientiane. The road gets more difficult from there. From Chaiyaphum, I took a bus to Luang Prabang, which took 3 hours. After about 1 hour, the bus takes a ferry at Tha Duea village, then continues on a very dusty road to Chiang Ngeun junction, then turns left to Luang Prabang for another 24 hours. At this junction, if you turn right, you go to Vang Vieng.
