It is a village where locals have many bombs which they repurpose for various uses.
For example, they use bombs to make fences, house posts, and household items. This Hmong village is located along Highway 7, 3 kilometers east of Phonsavan. If you visit Xiang Khouang Phonsavan, choose a travel package that includes one Plain of Jars site and the Hmong village. I think it’s the best value for both time and cost. Besides bombs, you will see the authentic lifestyle of the villagers, such as rice pounding and pigeon raising. I wonder if they raise pigeons for communication or for food.
You will see Hmong embroidery, Hmong kitchens, and kitchen tools made from bombs. To arrange tours or transportation to the Plain of Jars and Bombing Village, contact the Night Guesthouse located in the town center.
