Life by Indawgyi Lake: The short film by Nong Nene and Nong Ngae Thaso, who is the daughter of the motorcycle taxi driver who took me around Indawgyi Lake. The driver runs a food and goods shop at Ban Long Tung, near the guesthouse where I stayed. I walked to eat at his home and was interested in having his daughter make fish balls from snakehead fish or fermented fish paste, from digging the ingredients to shaping the fish balls, a traditional Indawgyi recipe.
At this house, I had the chance to see inside the kitchen and Nong Ngae Thaso's room, witnessing traditional Thanaka makeup application—a rare sight nowadays. mr.hotsia Travel Excitement 25°5'44"N, 96°17'16"E GPS Coordinates (POI)
