For Thai people, Kengtung food is not a problem because Kengtung cuisine is similar to Northern Thai food, such as Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage), crispy pork crackling, fried fish eaten with hot sticky rice, very delicious. Along the streets, there are noodle shops, warm rice, and Khao Soi (curry noodle soup) that are easy to find. Breakfast at the hotel usually includes noodles. If you want more, buy from the morning market. For lunch, I recommend Khao Soi noodles sold at roadside shops, or you can have roti sold opposite Harry Guesthouse.
For dinner, I recommend eating at good restaurants around Nong Tung lake. I suggest AZURI restaurant. The crispy pork salad is very delicious.
