You can choose to stay in the downtown area near the Central Market. The large morning market in the city center is better because it is in the middle of the city, allowing you to walk and explore old Kengtung, find fresh coffee and food easily without hiring a motorcycle, though prices may be higher than Harry Guesthouse. Suitable for those who enjoy strolling and experiencing local life and markets. Mr.Hotsia stayed at Harry Guesthouse.
Located opposite a small fresh market in the morning, Harry Guesthouse is a bit on the outskirts. For traveling around, take a motorcycle taxi parked in front of the guesthouse for 15 Baht per trip. It's easy and convenient. Traveling within Kengtung city, motorcycle taxis charge 10-15 Baht per ride. Although not many are available, you can still see some passing by if you walk around the city.
