After visiting temples, during my free time at my accommodation at Northwest Guesthouse, they offer a service with a tank in front of the shop where you can comfortably soak your feet. Whether you want to drink, chat, or just watch the fish nibble away, no one minds. It was my first time experiencing Fish SPA or fish therapy. When I first dipped my feet, I felt a ticklish sensation as the little fish eagerly nibbled away dead skin. They looked so hungry, I wondered where they came from.

Fish therapy is a form of spa using hydrotherapy by employing small fish from the Cyprinidae family, such as Garra or Crossocheilus species, to nibble on the skin of the person receiving treatment to remove dead skin cells, allowing the body to regenerate new skin.
