When I was a child, my mother liked to make snakehead fish hor mok for me. I also helped wrap the hor mok. In my hometown area of Bang Bo, some families add eggs to their hor mok, but my family did not. Later, when I grew up and worked away from home, it was hard to find delicious snakehead fish hor mok. Whenever I traveled to a province that sold hor mok, I always ordered it. For example, in Phayao, next to the T. Lert Ros shop, there is a shop selling Grandma Dee's snakehead fish hor mok. I found it delicious and satisfying. Snakehead fish hor mok must include Bai Yor leaves to blend well; using other tasty leaves is not as good.
