This dates back more than ten years ago. The big event included participants from Vietnam, China, and Laos. After many years, the latest Tai Lue Festival held at Wat Sob Waen in 2013 was quiet. There was a Tai Lue parade from various northern provinces. At night, there was a Khantoke dinner event where only those who could pay joined to eat in front of the stage. Those who did not join watched from afar. Chiang Kham has a large Tai Lue community that preserves their culture quite well. I believe this event will grow bigger in the future. Is it necessary?
