Located on Highway 12, the route from Phitsanulok to Phetchabun, an international route from Myanmar Mae Sot to Mukdahan.
Highway 12 (Mae Sot - Mukdahan) is a major transportation route connecting northern and northeastern Thailand. The government plans it as part of the East-West Economic Corridor linking Mawlamyine, Myanmar and Da Nang, Vietnam. This highway is also part of the Asian Highway Network.
Along this route between Phitsanulok and Phetchabun, about 10 kilometers before the Kaem Son junction, on the left is Route 12 coffee shop with one of the most stunning views I've seen on the route from Mukdahan to Da Nang. Except for Rango city, no other place has such beautiful scenery. So, if you pass this route, stop for coffee and enjoy the view. Don't let time rush your travel. The shop offers coffee, souvenirs, and lodging.
However, there are only a few rooms, so it's more suitable for a short visit. This shop is one of my favorites. I love the view, the atmosphere, and the idea behind the shop's name.
