The Co Op Mart in Vi Thanh is located in the city center near the Kenh Xa No river. The mall has two floors: the ground floor is the fresh food, dry goods, and consumer products zone, similar to Big C in Thailand. The upper floor houses a food court, bookstore, and clothing shops, which is where I often stroll and grab a bite when I want a break from exploring the city.

What I really like when I come here is the fresh food section on the ground floor, especially the pork sausage, nem, and various local sausages available. These are protein-rich foods I often order at some Vietnamese restaurants but don’t feel fully satisfied. Here, I buy them to take away and enjoy to my heart’s content, especially the Vietnamese sausages which have a delicious taste and unique aroma. In front of this Co Op Mart, there is a small spot with traditional Vietnamese hats for customers to wear before entering the store.
