There are food boats cruising the river, which I call dinner cruise boats. The boat departs around 8 PM and cruises about 4 kilometers. Food is served on board, along with music and magic shows. The cruise returns around 10 or 11 PM. The boat has three levels.
There is a singing stage on all three levels, and the music can be very loud. If you dislike loud noise, do not board this boat. The food on board is reasonably priced and focuses on fresh seafood. There is a boarding fee of about 30 Baht. For a quieter experience, sit on the lowest deck where there is no performance. The third deck is the most crowded and loudest but offers beautiful views. Sitting near the bow is recommended. I suggest ordering liquor or hot pot dishes—they are generous and delicious.
