On two occasions when I sat by the river in Can Tho, the evening atmosphere before sunset featured smoothie stalls along the riverbank. I ordered durian smoothie or jackfruit smoothie without sugar. They were very delicious. I always have two glasses. While drinking, I enjoyed watching the people of Can Tho.
Take a ferry boat back and forth. There are two boatmen rowing across the river. In the middle of the river, boats pass by, some with unique designs, creating an amazing atmosphere. After sunset, the Can Tho Walking Street or Can Tho Night Market next to the river starts. Walk around to enjoy grilled pork with betel leaves, sticky rice with fried chicken—very popular local dishes. Stroll the walking street a bit, then go for a dinner cruise.
