That area is one of Phnom Penh's lively beer and restaurant districts. In the past, whole cows were roasted in front of the shops. Now, they prohibit showing whole cows roasting; the roasting is done at the back, then cut into pieces and grilled again in front of the shop. Still, this zone remains a bustling nightlife spot in Phnom Penh. Recommended are various dishes sold by young vendors who walk around offering unusual items rarely or never seen in Thailand. For example, girls selling grilled snakes walking around—isn't that unusual? They also sell raw eggs.
Duck eggs, goose eggs, grilled kabang or grilled green eggs are sold by many vendors around the roundabout. I think this adds color to the nightlife tour in Phnom Penh. mr.hotsia August 2012 Stir-fried cockles with tamarind leaves Khmer food Phnom Penh food Kabang or Khmer grilled food Grilled green eggs Phnom Penh khmer food phnom 11 33 58.931 N, 104 55 46.032 E GPS coordinates (POI) Roasted whole cow shop number one selling Angkor beer For those who like this beer, welcome to shop number one.
