Getting to Yangon by yourself. Kyaik Pun Paya is an ancient Mon pagoda located in Bago (Bago Division of Burma). It features four Buddha statues sitting back to back, each facing a different direction, standing 27 meters tall.
The four faces are named Kakkusana, Konagamana, Kassapa, and Gotama. These four Buddha statues were built by King Migadippa of Bago in the 7th century and renovated in the 15th century by the King. This pagoda is the first stop on tours and requires an entrance fee that covers access to all pagodas in Bago. You pay once here and keep the ticket for ongoing checks. I like the four Buddha faces for their kind and majestic appearance.
On clear days, photos come out beautifully. If I remember correctly, the entrance fee for all pagodas in Bago is 10 USD or about 300 THB. Mr.hotsia recommends popular hotels in Yangon.
