Built in 1570 AD by King Min Phaloung. Inside features carved images. The Laymyetnha Paya hall was built in 1430 AD.

Built by King Min Saw Mon, it is an octagonal four-sided temple. Along the walls are 28 small Buddha statues in niches. It is considered one of the earliest structures in Mrauk U. Its beauty lies in the exterior shape which resembles Indonesia's Borobudur. However, Borobudur was built in 750 AD, 700 years before this temple, from a different era but with similarities. I recommend visiting alone when it is quiet.
The tranquility evokes a feeling as if traveling back in time to ancient days. March 2016 Mr.Hotsia Enjoyable Trip 20°35'48" N, 93°11'34" E GPS coordinates (POI) 20°35'57" N, 93°11'0" E 20°35'53" N, 93°11'31" E 20°35'53" N, 93°11'32" E 20°35'51" N, 93°11'32" E 20°35'50" N, 93°11'31" E
